Instrumental Music Lessons
I have over five years of performing and teaching experience on almost every instrument found in a concert band or orchestra, and I have over 15 years of experience with teaching instruments found in a rock, jazz, or bluegrass band.
* Sign up for beginner lessons on any instrument you can think of. In the rare occurrence that I don't know the instrument, I will let you know, and refer you to someone else who you can learn from.
* Intermediate students are welcome on the guitar, drum set, piano, percussion, marimba, vibraphone, bass, and ukulele.
* Advanced students are welcome on the drum set, piano, vibraphone, and marimba.
* Note: If any student reaches a skill level that is beyond the scope of what I can teach them (which I sure hope happens!), I will refer you to another music teacher on that instrument who can continue to challenge the student.
Voice Lessons
I've been singing my whole life from being part of Sunday School programs to music festivals. I have been in choirs and musicals at a collegiate level. Now I sing lead and backups in my solo project as well as a handful of bands, and teach what I've learned to future crooners, rock and pop stars, or prima donnas.
* Have an audition coming up that you want to nail? Work with me and my experience as an actor in musicals, as well as the Music Director for musicals more recently.
* Do people usually laugh or mock you when you sing karaoke? Work with me and we'll have you surprising your friends with continued work and practice.

DJ Weddings, MC events, Sound System for hire
People who know me the best know that I'm never shy around a microphone, so just tell me what to say, when to say it, and consider it done!

Also, I've DJ'd many weddings and dances over the years. With a DJ name like "DJ Collin SICK", how could you not have a good time!?
​
I have a loud sound system and love to get the dance party started! If you have an event of any kind and want to have speakers, microphones, and/or background music, let me know and we'll make it work!

Music composition and arranging
I love to write original music, and I prefer to do it the old school way, with music notes on a sheet of paper.
​
I compose music of all sorts of styles from classical to jazz, and Samba to Funk.
​

Audio Recording, Sound Engineering, Music Production
I have over a year of Audio Recording classes under my belt and have had the pleasure of being a musician on 8 different studio albums.
My most recent album, for my band Collin and Co. is called The Next Chapter, and was released in June 2024.

I recorded and mixed the album on my own in my music studio with my microphones and recording gear.

Band Coaching and Consulting
Do you want to be in a band but you don't quite know how to get one started?

My goal with all of my students is to get them to a level where they are able to play music with other musicians and/ or students.

Live band or solo performance
I play music in many different groups, past, present and future.
The BIG band that I am the bandleader of is called Collin and Co. I play drums, vibraphone, keyboard, synthesizer and sing in this group as well as compose songs and write arrangements for the group.

I also do a live looping project, called "Collin and Co. Solo" ... The "Co." is my instruments! (See Photo at the top of the page)
